...kinda excited:
THE CHANGING OF THE URBAN SCENE: 'It is beautiful, of course it's beautiful - the harbour; but that isn't all of it; Sydney's the other half, and it takes both of them together to ring the supremacy bell. God made the harbour, and that's all right, but Satan made Sydney.' Mark Twain may have written these words in 1897, but mor than a century later they couldn't be truer. Sydney is nothing if not a tart - gaudy, proud, gorgeous around the edges but a little sleazy when you scratch below the surface. The Olympic Games in 2000 may have been the biggest party the southern hemisphere has ever seen, but the Sydney balloon still hasn't burst. The city - four million people of 180 nationalities sprawled across an area the size of Greater London - has seen rapid development in the past decade, a lot of it reasonably pedestrian. [...] It is a fascinating place, with the added attraction that you can spend all day, almost every day of the year, in the sunshine. Many come to visit and never leave, which speaks for itself, really. Wallpaper*City Guide. Sydney.
...YEAH!
